This identity for media platform Get Lifted, which promotes up-and-coming music artists, utilises a bespoke typeface created for the project that was inspired by DIN 1451 EngSchrift by Linotype and DIN Next by Akira Kobayashi, Sandra Winter and Tom Grace, 2014. It is a highly condensed face that utilises the contemporary rounded edges of DIN Next and the more uniform shapes of the original DIN 1451. Get Lifted presents itself across four platforms: TV, Radio, Online and Live. The design therefore consists of 15 variations of the logo that include adaptations for different media.
The wider branding system is built on a series of patterned squares that can be used successfully in infinite configurations, each time creating different layers and new, ‘emerging’ shapes.
